Do i need an ireland visa?

I live in france and have a stay permit renewable every year, i'm not a french citizen, i would like to visit dublin for a few days, do i still need a visa to go to dublin? as i know i do not need a visa to go like to italy spain germany and other EU countries.Not sure for ireland

Ireland is not in the Schengen area, so a French visa doesn't allow a visit to Ireland. If it is just for a holiday, and you aren't looking to set up home or work here, it depends on your country of citizenship. Ireland's in the EU, so if you don't need a visa for the other EU countries, you probably don't need one for Ireland either. You could always contact the Embassy of the Republic of Ireland in France to find out for sure.

No, you will definitely need a visa to come to Ireland, as someone above said Ireland is outside the schengen (or whatever way you say it) area. Your French visa will not cover you to come here, customs will pull you up unless you get a visa for Ireland!
