What are the BEST Pension Providers in Ireland?

  • We are a US based company opening an office in Ireland. Under Irish Law we need to offer access to a pension provider. We'll be setting up a standard PRSA for our employees, but we want to go with a reliable, reputable, provider (there are quite a few to choose from.) Suggestions??

    There are only a handful of PRSA providers according to The Pension Boards website. The firm that I used to work with use Eagle Star as their pension provider, but they also recommend Irish Life to some of their clients. I don't really all the companies well enough to tell you if any of them are better than these two or not.

The Irish government is the best pension provider because anybody who decides to get their own private pension will eventually be screwed when it comes to social welfare entitlements such as the free medical card. We're not going to waste our money on getting a private pension. We're going to get everything that we're entitled to from the government when we reach that age.
