How to get cable stations back?

How many stations do we get on terrestrial TV in Ireland (the basic cable?)?

  • I've had digital for a while so I can never remember how many your supposed to get on basic and which stations those are. Can anyone list them for me? (I think its about 13)

Dear god, seriously? Terrestrial is NOT Cable. Terrestrial is if you stick an aerial on the roof, in which case ou get RTE 1 RTE 2 TV 3 TG4 Any other channel is from a cable or satellite company ie. ChorusNTL, Sky, Magnet etc. "Basic Cable" depends on who you're buying your cable from.

Basic without cable are: RTE1 RTE2 TG4 UTV With cable (not digital) RTE1 RTE2 TV3 TG4 BBC1 BBC2 UTV CHANNEL6 MTV LIVING SKY1 SKY NEWS

On terrestrial (thats basic aerial just paying tv liscence) i get: rte 1 rte2 tv3 tg4 bbc1 bbc2 channel 4 htv (itv UTV) channel 6 i realise i live in a lucky border-ish area for tv coverage

I don't get 13! I get around 8. *BBC1 *BBC2 *UTV *Channel 4 *RTE *RTE 2 *TG4 *TV3

i just turned on my TV to check for you right now haha It's 18 channels and then 2 extra channels with the colour bars and music playing in the background!! I'm not sure of the stations but i can name a few: SkyNews MTV Discovery Hmm, thats all i remember. I don't watch much TV
