How long are typical classes in Australian universities?

What is the typical course load (classes) in Irish Universities?

• Like, translated into American terms? Do kids take five classes, four, three? I know that modules are different, but how many "3 credit American classes" would a typical Irish student take, even if it was translated into modules?

  We do have modules, it really depends on the collage it they want you to do only one class a day in a particular module and turn it into a five day a week course or do they want you to have it all over and done with in the one day, for example I have 3 modules and I usually do all three on a monday and then again on a thursday so it only takes up 2 days out of my week, but my friend has 3 modules as well in a different collage and he has to go in 4 days a week. so it really depends on the collage at the end of the day.
