Has anyone been to the castle of Amboise in France.How was it?

Anyone know about old castle ruins in Ireland called Conway Castle in County Cork which no longer exist>?

  • There was a book with a picture of the castle ruins years ago. I have been unable to ascertain the name of the book nor the author. However the picture was on the right hand page of the book and details about were that the author had driven along and seen the ruins next to a body of water. Very picturesque. Any information is appreciated as I am trying to trace about the Conway family.
