How do you say 'happy' in Irish?

Google translate tells me it's "sásta", is that right? If so, how do you pronounce it? What are other pretty words (eg. beautiful, gorgeous, lovely, love, beauty, etc) in Irish, and how do you pronounce them? We are very English and don't want to insult the Irish language so ones that are relatively easy to pronounce please :) (Ps. We're naming our new Irish pony. She has come all the way over from Ireland and we don't want to ruin her background by Anglicising her! :D)
