Was the DeLorean DMC-12 the pride of Ireland when it was built?

What? DeLorean was built in Dunmurrey, funded by UK sterling the the tune of £100million plus even though the Northern Ireland Development Agency was advised by the experts it would not be a sucess and the money would be lost.......the company went bankrupt, he was arrested on drug trafficking charges............... yer Northern Ireland could be proud for 'five minutes' until the sh!t hit the fan.....................................… NOTE: You Americans really need to get up a little earlier in the morning if you are pretending to be Irish.... and then make sure you know the facts before you put your foot firmly in your mouth... Just to make it clear Dunmurrey is just outside Belfast , Northern Ireland UK the old Delorean site has been derilict for years, it will be built on as they do have planning I am told by the guy who does the decals for my vehicles who's business is in Dunmurrey
