Can Lebanese Jews actually vote like any other Lebanese citizen?

Help! I'm an American citizen in London, am I too late to vote?

  • Am I too late to vote??? I'm registered to vote in Boston. Could I sent an absentee vote in time or would I have to fly back to Boston? God bless America!!! I love my country so much! We are the best country in the world!!! bar none! I've realized how privileged we are after living in England. I don't care if i have to fly back to Boston just to vote. I will do it if I have to.

    I'm sure the English would beg to differ about not being very privileged. Why are you in England if you think the US is so great? I'm an American living in Italy and perfectly happy wherever I am, but loud mouthed Americans like you give us all a bad name. Please DO go back!

Sorry mate you are already living in the best country in the world BAR NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least when we vote for a government we vote for its policies. The Prime Minister, Love him or loathe him is the head of that party that wins. In the USA your President is elected by people voting for what colour he is, what war record he has, whether he is sexy or not etc etc not what policy he stands for. Also the presidential elections are funded by BIG business which means that when a president gets elected he owes big favours to the gun lobby, Exon, gay rights and dare i say the mob. Its amazing how many companies linked to the Bush family have benefited from the Illegal invasion of Iraq. Your countrymen have been fighting and dying bravely because your president owed favours to people who bankrolled his election. Democracy is a dirty business that is stained by money. If the US system was changed so that elected polititians chose the president there would be less chance of corruption and also the election wouldnt take 2 years ( how do you cope with that)

How can you say that "America is the best country in the world"? Have you been to every other country in the world? No, I doubt you have. You should definitely fly back to Boston, and never leave.

You will have to go back to Boston to vote. There is an American Guy renting a room in the same house as my brother, and his absentee vote had to sent back in early October.
