Can Oxford be a good place to live in?

I was there last year it is the most beautiful place. I just sat outside Oxford and drank coffee and watched the world go by.

I've lived near Oxford for 40 years and can vouch that it has excellent public transport, shops, hospitals, museums and architecture. It's also home to England's smallest cathedral. The only short-fall I would say, is the traffic. It's best to use Park'n'Ride if visiting Oxford from elsewhere.

Oxford is a brilliant place to study, I was there for 4 years. It's compact, easy to get round on a bike and there are loads of student facilities. It's also, historic, beautiful and has loads of cultural stuff happening. Also, its a good base for exploring the rest of the UK and Europe. It's very easy to get to London and fairly easy to get to Heathrow.

Its not a bad place. House prices are high though. Clubs are not great but there are some nice pubs and some OK venues for live music. Shopping for clothes etc. is not great, but buses to London leave every 10-15 mins during the day and 1 or 2 times an hour all night long.

Oxford is Beautiful.

I know a lot of people young and old who are very fond of it so i would say yes it is a good place. To get more accurate information why not search on google. I'm sure there will be lots of interesting things there

Yes, Oxford is a fabulous place to live. It is close enough to London to travel anywhere and it is a large enough city to have everything you need. The city centre is easy to navigate and is always filled with interesting people. All in all, everyone that I know that has spent any length of time there loves it.
