Packages sent from UK to USA?

  • I had a package sent to me on Dec. 14th from the UK (I am in the US) and the package has yet to arrive. Its not a letter but a good sized box (Think LP size box). The package was not returned to the sender either. It was sent air-mail. But someone told me there is a delay in the mail system from the UK. Can anyone please confirm this as I am getting really worried. And no, there was no tracking but shipped from a trusted person.

    Severe weather and Christmas caused delays at the U.K. end in mid December and you would expect Customs to delay it for a few days in the U.S. but you should have received it by now. The sender from the U.K. should contact the British Royal Mail or Parcel Force

If there was any food or medicine or metal objects it could be held in customs. All you can do is wait at this point, but you should be fine. With weather as bad as it's been that might be the reason...
