What is the best place in the UK for a dancer?

Is there a site or place for Americans to meet people from the UK?

I'm looking to meet girls from the UK. I'm currently living in the US in Michigan. Looking for a site or place to meet women from the UK living in the US or UK. I'd prefer a place in the US seeing as it is very expensive to take a trip from Michigan to somewhere in the UK. I also considered going to school somewhere over there for a few semesters to get to know people but that's a long shot. Any help is welcome. Thank You.
