Are people allowed to enter a pro sports event barefoot and shirtless?

Isn't it about time Wales, Scotland, England and Northern Ireland were allowed to enter the Eurovision?

  • As separate nations like they do in most sports. I don't want an Independence debate. I am pro Independence for Wales. But i mean Eurovision most of the time it's someone from England and no offense they're rubbish. We are known as the land of song here in Wales. (Not bragging or nothing) So i think it's only fair that we can enter separately. Because the Eastern Block are always voting for each other. I am not saying I'd vote for England but I'd vote for Ireland and Scotland any day. Plus Catalonia and The Basque country. Diolch, Cynnig i ateb yn Gymraeg os yr ydych yn Gymry. Thank you, You are offered to answer in Welsh if your Welsh,

  • Answer:

Yes. The people in Europe think they are voting for "England". That is why they come last. Look for foreign posts and you will see they say England came last. People have no problem with the Welsh, Scots, etc.

good idea. at least we'd be able to vote for each other like everybody else does

exactly what I was thinking last night too ... at least we could vote for each other (or at least I'd hope we'd vote for each other, although the concept of a scotsman voting for the english entry is a bit hard to imagine) after all, if little andorra has the same points allocation as the whole of the UK, or France, or Germany, then surely we ought to be entering the four nations separately

Cymro bach you are 100% right, I was thinking this last night, we are 4 countries so why the hell not, the UK entry is always English so why not give the rest of us a go, I'm not sure how well we in Northern Ireland would do but it's worth a try.

Actually that's exactly what I thought yesterday.

Why would anyone want to enter the Eurovision Kindergarten song contest? P.S. This is an english language site! Another thought - even the BBCs tame (stage) paddy is talking about giving it up, about 30 years late!
