How do you send a letter from the US to the UK?

How would someone send a letter from the US to the UK?

  • My girlfriend lives in the US and she's never sent a letter to the UK before. Does she need to go to the post office and request international sending like I have to in the UK or does she just have to write my address on with some stamps and send it off. If so how many stamps and what kind? and how much would it cost? Basically can i have a walkthough of what to do XD

It simply needs 98 cents postage...any combination of stamps...or take it to the post office for a 98 cent stamp. that is for a normal size one ounce letter.

All she needs is the info you'd use to write one of your mates who lives in the next city, except she needs your postal code, Country, United Kingdom (ex. Wales, United Kingdom) .
