Answer:
How is it different from america? Europe is very different from America. Are you allowed to carry guns around? This is avery good question and the answer is yes most Europeans carry guns around on a day to day basis. The AK47 is a favourite among us Europeans. Do you need a permit? You can get a permit on a no questions asked basis in most newsagents. Is the school system/life different? Schools are very different over here. You are allowed to bring guns into class as long as you don't point them at the teacher. Most school kids spent their lunch breaks shooting cats and pigeons. Legal driving age? In all of Europe it is legal to drive at age 12 as long as you carry a gun beacause at that age you're more vulnerable. From age 16 you are not required to have a gun but most people do anyway. Do people get around more buy cars, or walking, bus? People tend to use cars more often nowadays because of shootouts breaking out on public transport. It was costing the government too much much to repair the damage caused by guns. Are people friendly enough to where you can just leave your door unlocked/ people (your friends) would just come in your home without knocking, or they invite themselves? Do not enter a Europeans home uninvited or you will get shot. In Britain and the rest of Europe people can be quite demented and paranoid. If you do happen to accidently wander into the home of a European make sure you are also armed but do not let them know you are carrying a gun. Avoid eye contact and exit the building as soon as possible. Europeans can smell fear. Are pounds just coins or do you have paper money too? We only use coins. The government issued paper money for the first time in 2003 but people couldn't get the hang of it. It is estimated that around 3 billion pounds in paper money was destroyed by Europeans in the first 3 months of it beindg issued. People didn't understand the concept of it and used it for lighting fires ans allegedly many people were eating it. What different pound coins do you have? We have a 1 pound coin, a 10 pound coin and a 50 pound coin. The 1 pound coin has a picture of the queen on it. The 10 pound coin has a picture of Jordan on it. The newly intriduced 50 pound coin has a picture of Will smith. Are job interviews the conducted the same way(go in, sit down, talk, leave)? Job interviews in Europe are conducted in an entirely different manner than you described. Interviews normally take place outside under a tree. Sitting is forbidden, you usually lean against the tree or depending on the boss sometimes you may stand on a branch although this is normally only done for executive positions. You may talk but only in whispers as Europeans are very paranoid about business and like to keep things secret. Are people racially separated? Only on buses, schools, restaraunts, trains, bars, workplaces, streets and church. Do asians get discriminated against? The Asians that live in Europe don't tend to carry guns which makes them an easy target. Are people openly discriminating towards gays? Gay Europeans are normally armed to the teath so only the insane would dare try discriminate a homosexual. Are there curfews for when minors or young people have to be back inside? Minors can go out whenever the want as long as they have guns for protection. I hope this helps and good luck on your travels.

Fewer guns. Tolerant and easy going here. Less stressed. So many questions!!! The one that hits me most is the discrimination one. We have laws against that type of thing. Britain is a very welcoming, tolerant and inclusive country. WE can NOT say the same thing about France, Germany and Spain where WE have been on the receiving end of some pretty nasty and, oh so blatant, RACISM. Enjoy the UK.

First off Europe is a massive continent with many different countries, they all are very different and have different laws. I can tell you about the UK though... how is it different from america? It's different in lots of ways, health care is free for everyone here, so you don't need to have medical insurance for your family etc. In the UK there are a lot less black people, but a lot more Asians. We still have American TV shows and fast food... The weather here is mostly crap :-( are you allowed to carry guns around? No, all hand guns are banned. do you need a permit? there are no exceptions, no one can carry a gun legal working age and drinking age? You can work part time from 14 (i.e. paper boy) and drink at 18 is the school system/life different? Almost all schools in the UK have a school uniform, other than that they aren't too different. legal driving age? 17 do people get around more buy cars, or walking, bus? That depends, in cities they would tend to use public transport, in smaller towns and villages most people would drive. are people friendly enough to where you can just leave your door unlocked/ people (your friends) would just come in your home without knocking, or they invite themselves? it's like that in the town where I live, but each place is different... are pounds just coins or do you have paper money too? Pounds and anything lower are coins. 5 pounds and above are paper money. what different pound coins do you have? we have 1p 2p 5p 10p 25p 50p £1 and £2 coins are job interviews the conducted the same way(go in, sit down, talk, leave)? Yes are people racially separated? Not as much as in America although the bigger cities (London, Birmingham may have some segregation). do asians get discriminated against? I work with about 20 Asian people and they're fine. are people openly discriminating towards gays? Not much, but you get homophobes everywhere... are there curfews for when minors or young people have to be back inside? No

You are NOT permitted to carry guns around. It's very difficult to buy them. Europeans are not trigger-happy the way Americans are. The legal drinking age differs from country to country, but 18 is the most usual. You can work under 18, but not full-time. The school system is very different, it's much more demanding. Again, when you can drive depends on the country. Some countries allow drivers with learners' permits/provisional licences on the road under certain conditions, others don't. Public transport is normally used in urban areas, in some cities people don't even bother owning cars. You cannot leave your door unlocked in most places now, are you nuts? That's asking for trouble. Pounds are only used in the United Kingdom, but they are in coin form. The UK also has paper money. Most EU countries use the Euro as their currency. Yes, job interviews are conducted in the same way, but you won't get an interview if you don't have the necessary educational qualifications. No, there is no official racial separation in European countries. Occasionally there is some discrimination against ethnic groups, yes, but not a whole lot. Sadly there is still some homophobia in places, particularly in Eastern Europe. Some countries do have curfews, yes, and to my mind this is a good thing.

I live in the UK.. we're not really all that similar to other european countries. Brits and americans aren't all that different i probs get on more with an american than a european person how is it different from america? we have funny accents and say trousers instead of pants are you allowed to carry guns around? nope do you need a permit? see above legal working age and drinking age? legal working age in the UK is 16 and drinking is 18.. in scotland and n ireland everyone starts drinking at the age of 11 ;D jk is the school system/life different? not really.. the only major difference is that you'll have to wear school uniform. Our schooling system is broken down to primary school 5-11/ secondary school age 12-16 / and college (which is optional, you can decide to leave further education at 16 but this will change in the year 2013) age 16 -18 and then it's onto uni. legal driving age? 18 do people get around more buy cars, or walking, bus? bus/ tube and cycling mostly are people friendly enough to where you can just leave your door unlocked/ people (your friends) would just come in your home without knocking, or they invite themselves? in the UK.. you should never leave your door unlocked O.o are pounds just coins or do you have paper money too? Yes we have notes too that come in 5's, 10's, 20's and 50's what different pound coins do you have? 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1.00, £2.00, are job interviews the conducted the same way(go in, sit down, talk, leave)? yes are people racially separated? Depends on where you live in the UK. In the major cities like liverpool, manchester london etc it's really diverse and yea most races do tend to stick with their own ethnic groups do asians get discriminated against? not really.. the british are just naturally sour when it comes to illegal immigrants that come over here abusing our benefits system. are people openly discriminating towards gays? Majority of british people here are pretty open minded when it comes to sexuality.. although doesn't matter what country you're in obviously there's going to be ignorant people around too are there curfews for when minors or young people have to be back inside? no.. your parents should be responsible for that

Europe is a lot more diverse and a lot older than America, it is also a lot more cultural with a richer history! You can't carry guns, not that I know of anyway! Do you need a permit for what? The legal drinking age in the UK & Ireland is 18, although I have gone into a few sainsbury's supermarkets to purhcase alcohol and they wouldn't let me, they said I had to be over 21 to purchase alcohol in Sainsbury's! I think you can start work at 15 or 16 on a lower minimum wage and you can't do as much work as the mainstream workforce! The school system in the UK is you have Reception, then you go into Year 1 and work your way up through Primary and Secondary education, you will have SAT exams in primary, and GCSE and A-Level exams in Secondary , Secondary schools are usually split between secomndary school for GCSE students and Sixth Form Colleges for A-Level Students! You can then progress to third level education. In Ireland you do a Junior Certificate exam in your third year of Secondary School and a Leaving Cert exam when you leave secondary school that will determine what University course you may be able to do! :) The legal driving age in the UK and Ireland is 18, and I think you can start getting driving lessons at 16 or it might actually be 17, not too sure! If you live in London, you have cars, buses, taxis, trains, underground trains, loads of cycle lanes! But if you live in the tail end of nowhere somewhere in the West Country, you might be lucky to get one bus a week to your local town! :) No, you should always keep your doors locked or your stuff will get knicked, well in London anyway, the parts I know, also make sure you have a burgular alarm, and put up some CCTV camera's so you can catch any dodgy people on your cams! :) In London, you could live on a street for 20 years and never know your neighbours or anything about them! Yes we have paper money too, you have your 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, 1 Pound and 2 pound coins and 5, 10, 20, 50 Pound in Notes (paper money)! :) We call Bills, Notes here with regard to paper money! :) Yes you go in, sit, talk, and leave for interviews and you should wear a suit! :) Yes Racism exists in England and across the UK and Europe as it does everywhere else in the world! :) Probably, I haven't heard of any Asian discrimination myself!!! :) Some people are openly discriminant to gays but a lot of those people are just Thick, we have Gay Pride Marches and stuff over here if your into that! :) I'm not too sure about the curfew thing??? Hope I was of assistance!!! :)
