Good places to go on holiday in England?

Me and my mate are aloud to go on holiday on our own but only in England. Where are some good places to go? We live in the south east so we don't really wanna go as far as like Newcastle but we don't really mind where. Just need some ideas x

Devon and Cornwall! Beautiful coast. Artist go there because of the light. The beaches and walks are just the English countryside at its best. And you better buy yourself a cornish pasty! Have fun!
