  It actually depends on the decision of a U.K. border officer on arrival. In general holders of passport which are non-visa nationals can stay for up to six months. However the period of stay may be questionable if someone is of an age that either requires to work or to get educated. Added: Sorry, and with all respect. When I was 27 I had to work to cover my costs of living and I could only travel during my vacation period which for sure was not three or six months. What's going on in nowadays world? Is everybody (to include governments) keeping to spend money which they actually do not own. It looks like everybody will be bankrupt within a couple of years ;-)
