Advice on colleges in England?

  • So I was wondering how hard it would be for an american student to go to college in England? Not study abroad like go to college there for a 4 year degree. I really want to be a lawyer and live in England. So I was wondering about colleges in England? Are there good ones that accept a lot of american students? And I was wondering what kind of grades I would need to get in? Subjects to take? Im going into high school now. So just planning ahead. And how hard is it to adjust to life in england compared to the US? Thanks(:

    They are called universities here, not college (college is for younger students age 16-18). They accept lots of foreign students. You need to do some research on what subjects/grades you would need to be accepted on the degree you want to do. firstly London is very expensive so your standard of living is invariably low and you will live somewhere crap and cramped unless you have a lot of money. Flatshares can be OK but they can be a nightmare if you end up living with nobs. Secondly there is a very snobby element of people in London who ignore people who aren't well dressed, attractive and successful like them. You see them posing in the cafes in the west end and walking around the west end with their noses in the air. The class system is very pronounced in London, the posh people can be extremely irritating, and unless you are earning good money you can feel as though you are a second class citizen.

You mean UNIVERSITIES ? Believe would be possible, but fees for overseas students are very high.
