How much is for a Taxi from Civitavecchia to Rome?

I am going to Rome for four days holiday. Which way is better, book a taxi advance in UK or just call a taxi?

    You could ask the hotel to arrange a taxi for you but otherwise I would just get one once I arrived.

you should wait until you get there could be cheaper than booking in advance, but you can always get a bus into the centre from the airport.. which will go to the main termini train station, then get a taxi from there to your hotel.. that would be the cheapest thing to do, as a taxi from the airport to the centre ish is about 40 euros or more. also it depends which airport you are flying to.. from ciampino airport you can get a normal bus to the nearest metro stop, then get the train into the centre, and this will only cost a few euros, so much cheaper than a taxi ! ofcourse if you are close to the airport then getting a taxi could be easier

I would just get a cab from the airport, but they will rip you off. Take you the long way into town.

book in advance through your agent if its to get you from airport to your hotel
