Where's a good place for easter dinner?

Wheres the best tiger related place in the UK?

  • I went to a zoo in Keswick which let you stand on a bridge just far enough away to not die, but close enough to watch tigers climb 20 foot poles for their dinner and what not, it was amazing, i want to take my girlfriend somewhere spectacular for her birthday and tigers are her favorite animal etc so was hopeful there would be somewhere i could take her that would beat seeing that. I once went to a place as a child where the keepers let people hold baby tigers, but anyone know a place that does that now?! I cant see it being possible in this day and age, and i dunno where i was when it happened i was only about 7 at the time! Any help would be appreciated!

    I think you're talking about the South Lakes Animal Park at Dalton in Furness, there isn't one at Keswick, the animal park is fantastic, been there on numerous occasions, I would think that your girlfriend would enjoy it there

South Lakes Wild animal park Dalton -in-Furness Cumbria. has spectacular tiger shows and is a major part of tiger conservation. Don`t think they¬ll let you hold them tho !!

Longleat park used to be good not only for tigers but lions too wandering in large enclosures rather than caged.

Longleat used to be the place where they'd allow you to hold the cubs that were being hand reared, and there's nothing like it, but you'd need to be there at the right time. The Isle of Wight zoo is pretty impressive for their big cats too.

Don,t know if its the best,but a little zoo called Banham near Thetford is quite a close up if your lucky. When we went they were just the other side of the glass and undercover Stay Lucky
