Staffordshire or Cheshire?
-
hi, I looking at places to live and I cannot decide between Staffordshire or Cheshire? I want somewhere that is racially diverse, good selection of hospitals and a good shopping centres. I picked these areas because i want to be able to travel to big cities like Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield and Leeds ( in that order) for shopping, nightlife, concerts etc. I'm in my early 20's about to qualify as a midwife. 1. what area would you advise and why? 2. Nice areas to live that are racially diverse? 3. What train lines i would have to take to travel to the big cities? I have visited staffordshire many times and i like lichfield and stone. Ive just passed through cheshire but told it is very nice. Thanks

Answer:
Staffordshire is ok. The entire city is racially diverse. Areas like Shelton and Cobridge in Stoke on Trent have a Asian majority but you're going to find a mix anywhere you go within S-O-T. Stoke train station will get you a train anywhere. I've gone from Stoke station to Manchester, Liverpool, London etc. Stafford itself is quite a nice area to live for the namesake of the city it's very...quaint. Stone whilst a lovely area isn't particularly diverse racially. Anywhere you go within any city in the UK is going to have it's good and bad points. Staffs is no different.
