What is the best place to study in Europe or the UK?

Where is the place to live in UK while study and work?

  • i'm libyan canadian graduate student , is married to British man, we are thinking of going to UK to finish study and gain experiences, while i can't find a job in LIBYA right now till the companies are back to work. so i thought of not wasting the time and start build up for our career. We are looking for the best place and cheap enough to rent a place and where is a good universities for IT specializtion and good place for couple. so which is the best i've been told OXFORD , LEEDS , MANCHESTER,NEWCASTLE . would be great to get some help.

    At the end of the day, it would make sense to choose a university before your house and then you can ensure you even have a place at that university

I moved to Newcastle from Bristol 3 months ago and I would recommend both city's. Bristol has a lot of art and culture and is close to beautiful seasides and countrysides. but its expensive to live there, as anywhere down south the rent and council tax are higher. Newcastle has a fantastic nightlife, great shopping and fantastic transport systems and its much cheaper to live here and another plus point the people are very friendly and the accent is kinda sexy!

I liv in tower hamlets in east london which is a place where a lot of violence happens wiv gangs e.t.c. i remember ther was a gang war between our area, brick lane and camden up in north london. everyone kept gettin mugged and all the kids carried weapons. but that is now passing slowly and there is an increase in the amount of police due to the olympics. however, stuff on tv gets people to exagerate on how bad london is. trust me the likelihoods of u getting harmend are quite low unless u do something dumb. the best are of london is south west. u hav places like wimbledon which is relly nice.
