Middlesex or Westminster university?

Which University in England is best?

  • I am most likely going to study abroad in England and I have been given the options of these schools? Which one is the best and has a location near/ in London? Universities of Essex, Greenwich, Lancaster, Manchester, Nottingham, Sussex, York, Oxford University, City University, Middlesex University, Westminster or one of the 6 colleges within the University of London. Thanks!

    Oxford is by far the best on your list but it's not easy to gain entry. It's about 60 miles from the centre of London Most of the others are reasonably close to London, except Lancaster, Manchester, Nottingham and York. However, I wouldn't make proximity to London a priority, unless you have connections with people there.

Having looked at your list: Oxford is the best University College London, London School of Economics and Imperial College are the best university of london ones. York, Nottingham, Lancaster and Manchester are not as good but still very high ranking. Stay away from Middlesex.. and also westminster and greenwich

it depends on what you are willing to spend and what you want to study. they're all good unis but it depends on what one is right for you.
