Where do you recommend sightseeing in UK?

You could try looking outside the cities - I'd particularly recommend any number of places in the Scottish highlands or in the Lake District.

Firstly yes Oxford is nice. I'd Agree with Andrew, try some of the rural parts of Britain, a few high points might be Stonehenge, Avebury rings, Hadrian's wall, Snowdonia, The Lake district, Highlands of Scotland ( Loch Ness etc ), North east Scotland ( Castles and distilleries galore ). These are just a few off the top of my head that I know and have visited.
