Things to do in Southampton and London?

Things to do nearish andover? Can travel to places like Southampton and London, basically places near Andover?

• My friend is coming to stay for a week at my new house here in Andover, and as i've only just moved here i'm not familiar with the area. We are both 16 and can travel by train to get to places, so are wondering what we could possibly do?

  Southampton and london are easy to get to and London is direct but if you want somewhere a bit closer so cheaper go to basingstoke its towards london and takes 20mins - more shops - biger cinema - more places to eat or try salisbury about the same in other direction. Cinema is bigger in basingstoke than salisbury and andover - more screens etc. But if its shopping go to southampton its worth hte extra time and changing trains compared to basingstoke - Londons ok as long as you plan where you want to go - tubes are easy enough
