Can some one please tell me the names of some industiral towns in england?

Sheffield,. Manchester, Birmingham, Coventtry, Wolvwerhampton, Nottingham. Leicester, Peterborough, Oxford, Cambridge, Walsall, Stoke-on-Trent, Huddersfield, Leeds, York, Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesborough, Lichfield, Burton-on-Trent, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Exeter, Taunton, Yeovil. It would be more difficult to name towns in England which are NOT industrial.

There are many around Manchester - once known as Cottonopolis due to its status as the world's leading cotton producing city. Bolton, Oldham, Blackburn, Burnley, etc.

Stoke-on-Trent the potteries: Birmingham factory's in abundance: Sheffield steel: Clyde Scotland ships: Wales the mines: that's a start

Sheffield is the main one that comes to mind (steel works) But then again i live there lol so that's probably why X

definately not 'Clyde, or Wales' probably wouldn't paticurlaly say Oxford, York or Lichfield either.. or you would end up saying every town has a bit of industry, which is obvious. Definatly, Hull, Liverpool , manchester, birmingham,middlesborough for a few. bigger towns, more industrial
