Where to park at Luton Airport when you pickup?

I am picking up a friend from Luton Airport but I've never been there before. Does this airport have a free pickup location? I've been told that there is a 10min free parking at some point where the taxis are. Does such place really exist or is it just another myth?....

yes the pick up point exists, it's not a myth ... it's right next to the terminal building alongside the bus station ... what my family does when we're picking up someone from Luton is park up a mile or so away from the airport where there's no parking restrictions, then when the person gets through baggage reclaim etc they ring on their mobiles to let us know they're ready, and the person picking up drives the last mile over to the airport, straight into the pick up point so that they're not hanging around ... works a treat ... by the way late at night (I think it might be around midnight or so) the 10 minute rule stops so you can spend as long as you like parked in the pick up point
