Answer:
i did the same and took a big leap to Ipswich the people are very friendly the two schools my kids go to are great, your near the coast, 20 Min's on train two felixstowe witch is a lovely seaside town, your on the main train line links the towns got every thing in 1 long street and its got two shopping mall's then park are lovely the council have just done them all up, there's a lovely river walk you can follow that heading out of town and it will take you to a lovely woods. I've just move from there only 30 Min's down the road and its so different I'm home sick. hope i've been of some help, you didn't say where you are now

I live in rural Staffordshire and quite frankly i wouldnt want to live anywhere else. We are central to all of England, the cost of living is much cheaper than in the south and about the same as the north. I've just bought a brand new 4 bed house for £209k ( try doing that in Kent ) Big cities within easy reach are Birmingham, Manchester and Derby to name a few plus loads of easy to reach airports. For the kids you have Alton Towers theme park on the doorstep and Cannock Chase to explore. Have a weekend here, you won't want to go home.

I live near Dover in Kent, quite close to the sea, lovely views - with a pair of binoculars you can see what French people are doing in Calais! Plus you can catch the ferry and nip over there for the day for just a fiver. There's quite a few nice little villages around here, and Deal is a good place too.
