Good places for a group of 16 year olds to go on post GCSE holiday in the UK?

    You can stay in youth hostels www.yha.org.uk Brighton in East Sussex and Newquay in Cornwall are both very popular with young people. Newquay has a nicer beach

No where in the UK allows minors to holiday without an adult. No hotel or B&B will rent to you.

Me and my friends have also looked into this as we are also looking to do basically the same thing but unfortunately they do not let 16 year olds go on holiday, even in holiday parks and Butlins, the only thing that might be do-able is to go camping, although I realise you probably don't want to do that as we don't want to do that either :L or try and pursuade like an older sibling or family member to go with you, as places don't want to be held responsible if something were to happen because technically were still children even at 16 :L hope you figure something out though!

not many places rent to under 18s, so your options will most likely be limited because of that.

Alton towers. And don't even think about going to butlins its a dive!
