How Long Would A PackAge Take From China To UK?

First time sending a gift from UK to China - help?!?

• Okay I've never mailed a gift internationally before and I'm not sure how it works. Basically the person's given address is a company - no house number, so do I write their address in Chinese, English, or both? How long would it take for a package to arrive in Dalian, China from the UK? The present consists of candy, and some small little plastic gadgets. I'm worried the candy will melt, or might not even be allowed into China and will get opened by customs which I don't want! Do I ask for the declarations form at the post office? And should I write my address in English + Chinese on the back in case it doesn't get delivered? Someone please just give me the basics in sending a parcel internationally! Thanks!

  You write both addresses in English, you take it to the post office and will be asked to send it, you wil be asked what it contains and they will write it on the label.......it s up to customs if they pen it, if you don't put down what is in it and they scan it and see something else they are likely to open it.....I get things from China and mine are here in the UK with in 7-10 days
