Where to go camping in UK?

Where should me and my partner go camping in the UK?

  • Basically, we are going to Tenerife in July, but we are wanting to go on another little break for about 3 nights in August Camping. We want to go camping near the coast but the only places we can think of are near whitby and skegness. Any other suggestions? im open to anywhere in the UK even if its not on the coast.

    Goodness...you are completely spoilt for choice as the UK has such a vast amount of camping sites in truly lovely places be they inland or at the coast. Here is one which seems to have it all going for it...it's Shell Island in North Wales... http://www.shellisland.co.uk/

Get a Ferry over to Northern Ireland and go Camping near the Giants Causeway just outside Portrush. It can be expensive to come over by car but is a reasonable price to travel as a foot passenger. You can then take a Bus or Train to Portrush. Plenty of beautiful Coast Lines.

Much depends on where you are and how far you wish to travel. The west coast of Anglesey is really nice around Bencllech and Moelfre. If you live in the south then ear Lands end is nice. Places such as Sennen and Treen

My back garden is pretty big and you can camp there if you want. £5......are you interested? Seeing as we are in a bad economical state still, you would be mad to turn this steal :P
