Is it easy to get a job in the UK?

If i was Polish how easy is it to get a job and live in the UK?

  • Using the Polish as an example : How easy would it be for me to live in England? Can I just get off the plane, rent a place, get a job and live here? How easy would it be to get benefits eg? If i had a job got laid off do you get job seekers allowance, other benefits etc (that i can send back to Poland). Just asking for all the people who bash the Polish for living here and how easy it is for them to live here. And no Im not Polish I lived here all my life.

you would have to apply for permanent residence i think you could get benefits for being laid off, but i'm not sure now with this recession, but i think the English would be annoyed you sending them back to Poland, many people are applying for benefits moving back to their home land and cashing it in, when they aren't even in the country,
