How does PayPal work and how much does it cost?

How can I work out how much a holiday will cost?

  • I desperatly need a holiday after so much hospital treatment, and plan on staying in the UK so I dont have to pay out for a passport etc since its unlikely it'll be used more than just this once. Im thinking of going to Blackpool for a week, but I dont know how to work out what it will cost - Can someone help me work out what it will cost or point me in the right direction? Thanks!

  • Answer:

cost of travel (train ticket)+ cost of accommodation (look on laterooms.com) + cost of food for a week + activity money - look what you want to do there and how much it costs

Well first you have to figure out how you're getting there. Bus/train - How much is a ticket. One way or return? Your own car - How far away is Blackpool? How many miles do you get to a gallon? How much does it cost to fill up your tank? And don't forget you have to drive it back too. Then comes the second part which is where you will be staying? If it's a hotel, you'll have to call ahead and find out how much a room would cost for a week. Then there are misc. expenses such as food, and entertainment while you're down there. It's kind of hard for anyone who hasn't done it to give you a number, but those are some things for you to consider =)

A typical Blackpool B&B is about £50 per night with breakfast so add another daily amount for spending each day plus your evening meal and lunch . So lets say £350 for the B&B and another £350 for food and spending maybe. That makes £700 but that is a very rough guess.
