Where is the best place to go on a fishing holiday if you live in the uk?
-
Me and my Mum are trying to plan a surprise holiday for my Dad for his 50th birthday, but we are struggling to find somewhere. We want him to be able to go deep sea fishing, but we can't afford to go to places like florida or australia. We are running out of places to go as we don't like places that are too touristy, but would like somewhere where we can do some tourist activities, as we usually go on quite a desolate holiday. Thank you!

Hi if you live in the uk there are masses of placing to go on holiday and fishing. There are many places that cater for fishing and the family, warmwell is one of those but that is course fishing. You can even book caravan's by the lake side and on the lake site there is entertainment for family. If it;s sea fishing you can book a hotel or go camping, book a caravan and these are right by the sea. Choices are endless. try searching on google for sea fishing holiday for the family you will see lots of places.

Hello, The east coast of Yorkshire offers some amazing deep sea fishing, as it is in the north prices can be alot more cost affective, I would advise Whitby or Staithes. Staithes is a sleepy fishing village with good value holiday cottages dotted about and is very off the beaten track, yet only 20 mins from Whitby. Whitby has lots of attractions including the Abbey. Whitby offers loads of fishing day trips out that cost around £50 for the day. Hope this helps.

Cornwall! You will find mackerel and bass there. beside fishing you can chill out on the beach. There are plenty of hotel and resort there. If your dad play golf, you can go Tregenna Castle Hotel Golf Course. Just go to trip advisor and looks for review about hotel and restaurant.

Sea fishing : Cornwall (Padstow ?) or the north west of Scotland (Oban?). Freshwater: Perthshire is good. Get the train to Rannoch Station.
