Is it possible for me to go on holiday?

I have a British passport and I'm going on holiday in a month to Majorca-Spain and my families passports are all expired in 2014. But mine is expired in August. So my holiday will only be 4 months before from expiring whereas it needs to be 6. Is it still possible to fly? Thank you!

Don't listen to the first answerer. You will need a passport since your country does not issue national ID cards [which are the other travel document for EU citizens]. Driving licences, post, bank or tax cards are not accepted as valid travel documents or proof of identity. No you need a passport. Ignore the first answer, we don't have ID cards in the UK like the rest of the EU have and no other document is accepted

Your passport does NOT need an extra 6 months validity. It's valid right up to the date of expiry for travel in any EU/EEA country, which Spain is part of.

You DO need your passport ,just make sure it's not likely to expire whilst out the country ,have a nice time ,and don't forget to bring some rock back !

You country is in the EU, no need for passports homie. Just something to prove your identity like a driving license. Have fun!
