In your oppinion where in england is the best place to live?

Well I love the village I live in, which is in the bottom right hand corner (as you look at map) of Surrey. We have beautiful countryside all around us and yet London is only 50 minutes away by train and the coast is only 35 miles away. Yet I do love Wales, Pennines, Lake District and Highlands, for their ruggedness and mountain walking. Overall Surrey is best for me. Thanks for asking, it is a good question - interesting to see what others think.

West Country. Beautiful place. I currently live in Exeter while at uni there, and I love it. Better than my hometown of Luton, which is apparently the crappest town in Britain according to the book Crap Towns 2!

In my opinion there is no such thing as a nice city to live in,in the UK there are some beautiful seaside towns and charming rustic villages,my favorite is Bude in Cornwall. Just came back to look,as it was an interesting question,everyone has different opinions from London Bradford Surrey,but i cant believe the morons who give people a thumbs down for saying where they like to live,have the morons conciderd that if we all liked the same place they did, it would be pretty full.
