How much is a monthly or weekly Ticket to Gatwick airport cost?

How much will a train ticket from Gatwick airport to Oxford cost, if bought at the station?

  • I don't know the exact time I will be out of the airport and wonder if the tickets on place are substantially more expensive then from, say, thetrainline.com. What do you think?

  • Answer:

The Trainline is awful. They charge booking and handling charges if you were buying the ticket in advance you would go to the actual rail company operating the service. www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk A single bought at the time of travel is £24.40 With a railcard you would get a 34% discount www.railcard.co.uk (This fare is for using the direct service to Reading where you change for Oxford. Not via London)

It seems the price is the same at the station - £24.40 Off peak single - as on line (I checked thetrainline for a month ahead)
