What time does Alton Towers close at?

Alton Towers Queueing time?

  • We are going at the very beginning of september, and we are staying in the hotel, which apparantly if you stay in you get to enter the park an hour early. Also, it isn't a school day for me, but my little sister is supposed to be back at school that day. So please could you tell me: * What the queueing time would be an hour earlier than the park opens to people who aren't staying at the hotel * What the queueing time is when the park is open? I went to Alton Towers with school yesterday, alot of people were visiting from school as it was near the end of the school year + alot of people have school trips, and the queing time was about; An hour for Th13een, 35 minutes for Rita (in the Single Riders), Two hours for nemesis and air..

  • Answer:

There is no queuing time when the park is open an hour earlier for the hotel guests, you can literally jump straight on a ride because there isn't that many people. I remember we went and the school children from a school trip weren't allowed in certain areas or rides for an hour. The queuing time can be anything up to 2 hours on some rides; you've also got people who have paid more and have wristbands to 'jump the queue'. The actual waiting line is only designed to hold up enough people for 2 hours.

it depends how busy it is really, and if your going at the start of september then most likely people will be back at school and work and stuff!
