What's your best COD4 gun and Why?

Whats wrong with Manchester? Gun Crime?

  • 3 Month's ago 11 where sentenced to jail ranging from 39 - 5 year's.The 11 men where members of the Moss Side based Gooch Gang who have had a bloody rivalry with other gangs for nearly 30 years. When those 11 men where jailed there was hope that gun/gang crime would stop because there had not been a gun related murder in 14 month's.But in May a 16-year-old boy was shot dead (it was the 1st gun murder in 15 months) outside a pub. This followed in another man being shot a couple of weeks later and this was followed by 2 more murder's.And also there was a shooting a few days ago behind my house and a couple more gun related crimes in my area including the dumping of car used in a murder. So my question is Why has gun crime gone in Manchester gone from 0 in 14 months to 3 murders and a handful of shoot outs in a few weeks?

  • Answer:

Drug dealer being robbed and probably led to tit for tat killings. As a whole though Manchester's murder rate is low so i wouldn't worry too much.

If you get rid of one gang there is always another set of idiots ready to take their place as long as people want drugs there will be drug dealers, it wont ever stop.Manchester has been going downhill for years and its not getting any better.Sentencing should be stricter if you are caught with a gun it should be 10 years hard time no tv , gyms and courses just 4 walls a bucket and time to contemplate what you have done.

Moss Side is a part of Manchester, its not the whole of Manchester, so you can't say that every part of Manchester is affected. The big problem with Moss Side is that whilst the town centre is having money thrown at it to make it look even more like everywhere else, some suburbs are being left in their own squalor to go 'bad'. And, at the risk of sounding racist, the big problem with Moss Side was that it had a lot of immigrants move in because it was cheap but then the amenities (education, etc) were crap so the children grew up annoyed at the lack of support they had, and their chances of decent jobs were minimal, so SOME turned to drugs, crime, and then on to guns to back themselves up. Now there's people of all ethnic backgrounds there, its still cheap because of its reputation, and people come in from other area's to capitalise on the disgruntled kids (lets face it, it's mainly kids) and offer them some "excitement" in the form of crime There are ways it could be sorted. Build up community spirit there. Get families helping themselves. Remove the burnt out cars. Clean the rubbish up. Make it an area where people will report who has guns. Evict families who cause problems, and don't allow them to live within twenty miles of the area. (There's no point in chucking them out of council housing at number 20 if they move into private rental (paid for by the council) at number 22.) Toughen the police up. Gene Hunt would have kicked the *** necessary for the delinquent kids not to have wanted to face up to him. Now our police go round to schools with lollies and stickers, and if they're sworn at or verbally abused they daren't risk doing anything in case a gang of the abusers mates suddenly appear. And when someone is found guilty of gun crime, they don't get put in an open prison, they don't get phone calls home, they get up early and have a curfew, they do their time with none of the home comforts they seem to accept, and the sentence gets longer the more they fight against the system.
