Is there a large Irish community in Manchester?

I don't mean to cause any offense to anyone whatsoever but where in Manchester is the Jewish community based

  • i`m just wondering which part or parts of manchester the orthodox jewish community live in espesselly the orthodox community i think its mainly prestwich crumpsell and salford

  • Answer:

Cheetham was an area of heavy Jewish settlement from central and eastern Europe. Most of the Jewish population has moved out into the more affluent areas of Broughton Park, Higher Crumpsall and Prestwich. There is a large Jewish secondary school - King David - on the Cheetham / Crumpsall boundary.
