How much does it cost to get a return train ticket from manchester Piccadilly to London Euston on the day?

If you buy the ticket on the day from the station off peak return is £66.20 and anytime (peak return) is £262.00. If you book un advance from Virgin trains or any train company's website you can get tickets from £8.00-30.00 per single journey However to get these prices you have to travel out after 10am and travel back after 8pm. You can only travel on the train the ticket is booked for.
