Nice affordable areas to live in Cheshire.

Nice places to live in cheshire for a young single woman?

• i'm looking at places to live in cheshire that is safe for a young woman. I am in a well paid job able to afford possibly a mortgage on a 200,000 house after years of saving. I want to be: 1) near a station that serves liverpool and manchester. 2)Near a hospital with maternity services, 3)but most importantly is culturally diverse. Anybody know anywhere? NO i don't want to go to warrington just because of its close proximity to liverpool and manchester and i don't want to go to close to wales. I've been told chester, congleton and Knutsford are nice but are they culturally diverse. Does anyone have any other suggestions about any other surrounding areas that may be better. I live on the south coast but i want to head north! I need many people to answer to give me an idea

  Altrincham, cheshire has a good hospital and rail links to manchester and liverpool. Its pricey but its one of the best places i have lived in. Knutsford and Congleton also very nice but not as good train links, but have hospitals. But you are talking very very expensive to live here.. we go to Knutsford for our dentist and its like wow look at the high prices. Warrington, although you have said no, it is diverse, depends within warrington you have different parts, eg appleton, stretton, orford, padgate to name a few, local hospital good rail link. Chester is also a nice place, hubby went to uni and we were considering moving their, it is diverse as their is a very very big youth culture cos of the uni their. closer to liverpool and had countess of chester hospital. I wouldnt really say knutsford is diverse as its where the money people live.
