Question for londoners (car park)?

  • Hello, I am french and for Easter, I went to London by car. I just park my car in a street the saturday, but I didn't payed the car park ticket because I didn't had money on me. 3 Hours Later, I return to my car, but it was take by a pound car service. I waited until tuesday to recover it. And I paid £ 390. In France, it costs about £ 130 for this. Can you tell me if it is normal to pay as much for the pound ? Will I get scammed? Can I do something? Sorry for my spelling, Thank you for your help.
