Answer:
Best way to travel between Oxford Street and Harrods would be to get the bus. www.tfl.gov.uk to tell you which ones. It's basically down the end of Oxford Street, up Park Lane and then right into Knightsbridge so should take about 5 mins on the bus. There is a tube station at Knightsbridge but it's Piccadilly Line and you'd have to change so quicker on the bus. Best way to get to Heathrow Airport is to get the tube to Paddington (from either Bond Street or Oxford Street) Bakerloo line. Then buy a ticket for the Heathrow express www.heathrowexpress.com which are every 15 minutes and take 15 minutes. I would not advise travelling all the way on the Piccadilly line unless you really can't afford the train fare because it takes forever and you might miss your flight.

(about 40-45 mins.)The distance from Oxford St. to Harrods is about a mile and a half. Again, take the tube from Oxford Circus (Victoria Line) to Green Park, then the Piccadilly Line to Knightsbridge. (3 stops in all)
