IS the 50 Pounds banknotes still legal tender in UK?Is the Bank Of England going to change the design soon?
-
Is once the 50Pounds banknotes design change it will cease legal tendership?
-
Answer:
It is still legal tender, and anuy changes would laways have a changeover period when they both would be ok,, but there are some places that will refuse it all the same. A market trader wouldn't be happy giving you change for a £1.20 purchase ! £20 notes are better. Don't spend it all at once.
