URGENT!! How to get to EXCEL LONDON/HOW TO CHANGE "Lines"!?!?

  • I need to get to ExCel London next week and this is what i've managed to google; I have to get a train to Liverpool Street then and change onto the Central Line (eastbound). At Stratford change onto the Jubilee Line (westbound) to Canning Town. From here, change for the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to Custom House for ExCeL. But seriously, I have been to London TWICE and am really unsure of how to 'Change onto the Central Line' or how to tell when im at Stratford/how to change onto the Jubilee line/change for Docklands Light Railway!!!! How many tickets will i need!?! (approx cost?) How do i change 'Lines'? VERY CONFUSED AND URGENT!!!

    For your ticket needs it's simplest to get an all zones travel card at Liverpool Street underground station. If you travel after the morning rush the price drops to £7.50. It's good on both the Underground and the DLR. Gives you unlimited unrestricted travel for the rest of the day At Canning Town the route to the DLR is clearly marked and it's just a short walk. All DLR stations have route maps on the platforms and in the ticket office to help you. At Canning Town just make sure you get on the right train. The destination is shown on the front of the train. If in doubt ask the train attendant, they are normally at the door closest to the front of the train. Ian M

you will only need one ticket it is very easy you will see signs at Liverpool Street directing you to the Central Line (Colour code Orange) then at Stratford the same for the Jubilee Line (Colour Code Silver) at Canning Town just follow signs for DLR (Docklands Light Railway) every line on the London Underground has a different colour code and there are plenty of signs and maps on all platforms on all stations also a map of the line you are on on the train so you can see how many stations you have to go look here it will give you the fares http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/14416.aspx
