How can I save money on a London trip?

How to save some money for a 2 week trip to London?! please help me...?

• hi i am a 15 year old girl, living in australia. i am just wanting to know some easy, quick tips or ways to save up $6000 for a two week trip to london, please help me, i have no idea how im going to do it, i only have 10 months to save up as we are leaving in june, 2011. if there are any websites or any information you could give me, i would really appreciate it!! p.s: should i make a budget or something? i only make $30 to $60 a week.. should i get a second job? P.s.s: can i sell anything? like drawings/paintings, etc. (im pretty good at art) or if i could do any illustrating on some books? thanks heaps!! any more info you think is important, i appreciate it, taa. x p.s.s.s.... sorry, umm i only have like $60 now so...? /:

  first off i think spending 6,000 for a two week trip for a 15/16 year old is stupid... but that is my opinion yes, you will need to get a 2nd job... because say you make 50 a week, you'd make 200 a month, and you'd only make 1600 between now and the trip. you will need to fund-raise, collect donations, work a ton, and maybe you'll get there. but i think 6,000 could be spent so much wiser than a two week trip... unless of course your spoiled, and your parents are loaded than go for it
