Where can I find nice, plain, lace-up boots for men?

Where can I find good and cheap boots in London?

  • I live in Brazil and am planning to buy boots for my 2 week trip to London. I`ve read that it`s been snowy so I will need a better grippy and insulating footwear. I will probably travel to some other places around uk or near countries in europe, so I need a boot that would fit on various situations. I wonder if I should buy them here or in London. Are there places selling good boots at cheap prices? And what boots are better looking for men? I mean not those boots to wear with dressing clothes or suits. Boots to wear with jeans and other casual clothes. Or should I just put on some sneakers? Thank you!

    If you will be in the city then sneakers will be fine. The snow will probably have gone by the time you arrive.. Providing that the gulf stream hasn't really stopped.. Silverman's army surplus does cheap boots (but they aren't so fashionable perhaps), it's near Stepney Green tube. http://www.silvermans.co.uk
