Are you allowed to use an oyster card for 2 people?

Oyster Card Withdrawn?

  • I lost my oyster card. Received a letter saying I'd breached the 'Behaviour Code' because I allowed another person to use my oyster. WHICH I DID NOT DO! They gave me two weeks to explain myself by writing back. Which I did. Then today I received a letter saying my oyster was going to be withdrawn, what the hell! And apparently the only way to get it back is to book a place on 'Earn Your Travel Back'. What on earth am I supposed to do? I don't want to do this volunteering course to 'earn' my oyster back! I didn't do anything wrong ¬___¬ and I'm very busy with my alevels and such. HELP?

    complain and express to them what happend and if they still dont give it back to you ring head office and demand to talk to somone of the head of department and not have what they are saying to you, But keep calm talk posh and demanding and abit intimidating ! show em whos boss

Keep a copy of their reply and organise your evidence that you did not share or lend the card. Raise a concise complaint with London Travelwatch who will seek recompense for any expenditure you have incurred if they agree that the reported decision of TfL was improper or inappropriate.

This is awaful, because one of the things they say when they get you to buy one is how easy it is if it gets lost or stolen. Complain in the strongest terms - I've always found the people who answer the phone to be really helpful. Good luck.

If you didn't do it why do they think you did? They must have some evidence presumably. Irrespective of that I think you will find that your Oyster card is not a right but a privilege which means it can be taken away at any time.

Singapore Rules

Personally I wouldn't bother. Just get a new standard one.
