Which airport in London is better and need hotel recommendations?

Are you serious? You will have to use the airport that your plane is flying to, or from. Have you sorted out your flight? Your transport company / flight provider will tell you where you plane will land. You do not have a choice in this. Try Ryanair/ BMI/ etc. The whereever you land, you will get into London , and find a train / tube map to Farringtdon. If you land at Gatwick take a train directly to Farringdon. Or you can take alternate trains to London Bridge or London Victoria, where you should take the underground to Farringdon. Check out the London Underground maps at www.tfl.gov.uk From City you can get a taxi 9expensive) or the DLR train to Tower Gate way, then walk across the road from Tower Gateway DLR to, Tower hill and get the Circle line going clockwise to Farringdon. From Heathrow get the Piccadilly line to Kings Cross, then it is one stop to Farringdon an a number of Lines from there. Again check the underground maps at the TFL site. Farringdon is fairly central to most hotels, it getting out to the Airports that cause the most problems! Good Luck
