What's the shortest train route to Springfield?

London, getting from Euston train station to Paddinton Train station, how long and best route?

  • I'm traveling to Wales and the train ticket I've found gives me not very long to get from Euston to Paddington station and find my platform (I don't know what Paddington is like is it hard, are there many?) With all my luggage! How long do people find this generally takes, whats the best way of doing it? (I don't know my way around London at all) and will the underground be difficult around noon with a lot of luggage to carry? thank you!

  • Answer:

Taking the tube from Euston to Paddington will be about 20 minutes. I travel by tube with luggage all the time. It should be fine for you if you can carry your own luggage. If you think it is too heavy to carry it may be easier to take a taxi but then you have the risk of getting stuck in traffic I guess. Paddington is easy, it has 14 platforms. When you come up from the underground the escalator brings you right up in the middle of the station. There will be departure boards on your left and right (both showing the same information) and all the platforms are right in front of you, right next to one another.

If you take the Hammersmith & City tube you will arrive at platform 15 on Paddington station and there is a walkway to the other platforms, if you take the circle line you will arrive at Paddington underground station.
